CARROLLWOOD - "A Christmas Story" is coming to the Carrollwood Playhouse for the first time. Rehearsals are under way for the holiday performance that opens at 8 p.m. Nov. 30 at 4331 Gunn Highway.
It's about 9-year-old Ralphie from Indiana, who wants his ideal gift for Christmas - a genuine Red Ryder BB gun - and the extremes he goes to in hopes of getting it. The play will run through Dec. 22. Show times are 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, and 3 p.m. Sundays. Tickets cost $14, and $12 for students and seniors.
