School Welcomes Veterans

Northwest Elementary School hosted its annual Veterans Day Program on Nov. 9 by honoring all branches of the military. Military guests visited classrooms and spoke to students throughout the day. The PTA held a breakfast in honor of the veterans. The Hillsborough County School District channel recorded the program, which included military speakers, the Northwest Chorus and patriotic songs sung by each grade level. The event was televised on Channel 22.
