CARROLLWOOD - Traffic delays this week may occur during midday hours on two major north and southbound arteries.

On Armenia Avenue between Waters and Fletcher avenues, trees will be trimmed around utility lines from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. until Friday.

Two intersections on Anderson Road also may delay Carrollwood commuters. At the Gunn Highway junction, median and turning lane efforts continue from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. until Oct. 31.

A few miles south on Anderson, a thorough makeover continues at the Waters Avenue intersection between rush hours. Traffic signals, drainage improvements, road widening and utility relocation construction is scheduled to end Feb. 13.

In Lake Magdalene until Nov. 2, curb-and-gutter work continues during the day on Balsawood Place.

Not far from there, from Tara Grove Drive to Bearss Avenue, Smitter Road, Clark Road and Cherry Creek Drive are getting raised intersections. Closings there go from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. until Nov. 1.
