Does your pet have the perfect costume ready for Halloween? The Carrollwood News & Tribune would love to check out your pet in costume before the holiday.

Send us pictures of your pet decked out in its gear for our Halloween Pets contest.

Participants can submit photographs in one of three ways: post pictures online at Carrollwood.tbo.com keyword Halloween Pets; e-mail them to news clerk Jessica Balanza at jbalanza@tampatrib.com; or mail them to 5625 W. Waters Ave. Suite G, Tampa FL 33634.

Photos must be received by Oct. 21. Along with your pet's picture, please send in the name of the pet and pet owner, address, contact number, e-mail address and date the photo was taken. The contest is open to anyone living in the Carrollwood, Lutz, Forest Hills, Northdale and Lake Magdalene communities.

All pictures will be judged by our staff. Winners will be featured in our Oct. 31 publication in four categories - cutest, scariest, most original and funniest costumes.
