CITRUS PARK - The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office will host a town hall meeting Tuesday at Sickles High School, 7950 Gunn Highway.
The meeting will provide information on Sheriff David Gee's operations plan, plus statistics and updates on local gang activity, sexual predators, burglaries, traffic and other law enforcement issues.
'Anybody who has a question about anything can come and ask it,' said J.D. Callaway, spokesman for the sheriff's office.
From 6 to 7 p.m., visitors will be able to view computer systems that the department uses to collect data and fight crime. Special tactical equipment also will be on display.
Gee and his command staff will attend the town hall meeting that begins at 7 p.m.
The sheriff's office has two town hall meetings a year based on a geographical schedule. The last meeting in District 3 (the Northwest portion of the county) was in 2005 in Northdale.
The 2005-07 operations plan includes provisions to 'increase accountability and efficiency of services through community partnerships, comprehensive planning, and measurable performance standards.'
