FUNDRAISERS

CHICK-FIL-A: Gaither High School marching band hosts a fundraiser from 4-10 p.m. the second Tuesday monthly at Chick-fil-A, 16200 N. Dale Mabry Highway. Go to www.gaitherband.org.

HOLIDAY SHOP: Northwest Elementary is hosting a holiday shop through Friday at 16438 Hutchison Road. Children can shop for family and friends. Items are labeled and sent home to give out during the holidays. Call (813) 975-7315.

EVENTS

MUSICAL: Independent Day School-Corbett Campus is hosting "The Music Man Jr." Friday through Sunday at 12015 Orange Grove Drive. Performances include 7 p.m. Friday, 2 and 7 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday. Tickets cost $5. Call (813) 968-3087.

AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAMS

ART AND CULTURE: Florida Institute for Community Studies Multicultural Family Center hosts an arts and cultural program at 3:30 p.m. for ages 7-12 and at 5 p.m. for ages 13-17 at 6704 Hanley Road. SOAP MAKING: Florida Coast Handmade Soap Co. offers three-hour classes on cold-process soap making. Class includes a recipe and materials to make up to 15 bars of soap.
