Five hot air balloon companies came together Dec. 20 at Hollie's Nursery, 20545 County Line Road, for Hot Air Balloon Holiday Festival.

LUTZ - Crowds gathered recently to watch a little glow in the dark.

To be exact, the glow involved hot-air balloons.

Five hot-air balloon companies joined forces to host the Light Up the Night Hot Air Balloon Holiday Festival on Dec. 20 at Hollie's Nursery.

"We fly over all the time," said Jessica Warren, owner of American Balloons. "We wanted to give the community a 'thank you' and give them the opportunity to see the balloons up close."

The event allowed people to aclose look as the balloons were set up. And as the night darkened, the balloon pilots would light the burners, resulting in the glow effect.
