Ready For Pageant

TAMPA - Jashonia Stephens will participate in the National 2008 Miss Junior Teen Tampa pageant Sunday at the A La Carte Event Pavilion, 4050 Dana Shores Drive.

Stephens, of Tampa, will participate in the Miss Junior Teen Tampa competition.

The winner will represent Tampa and the surrounding communities at the Cities of America National Competition in Orlando.

The participants compete for prizes in modeling routines that include casual and formal wear. A panel of judges also will interview the contestants.

During the interviews, as well as other competitions, the contestants also will be judged on personality.
