Event To Honor Veterans

TOWN 'N COUNTRY - A custom car and bike show, a vendor fair and a welcome home for troops who served in Iraq and Afghanistan will be held Saturday in the Wild Wing Cafe parking lot at 9210 Anderson Road.
The event, Operation Support Our Soldiers, begins at 11 a.m. and is hosted by Florida Veterans Assistance Association. The goal is to raise money to erect a monument in Al Lopez Park to honor American soldiers who have fallen in Iraq and Afghanistan.
In addition to 66 vendor booths, there will be custom cars and motorcycles on display, with judging of the bikes and autos set for 2 p.m. Information about Operation-SOS can be found at www.operation-sos.us.
