CARROLLWOOD - Carrollwood Village resident Bill Bonsall said access onto North Dale Mabry Highway from North Village Drive has been a challenge for years. But he said it's getting worse.
He thinks eastbound North Village drivers attempting to turn left onto northbound Dale Mabry need a left-turn arrow.
"It's a real shoot-out trying to get across the street to make a left turn," Bonsall said, adding "Something should be done about this."
County spokesman Eugene Merritt said residents with concerns may call a customer service line, (813) 635-5400.
He said that concern would generate a work order to a county engineer, who would be in touch with Bonsall.
Resurfacing Question
David Millard wrote in supporting German Jordan's observation last week that progress for resurfacing on Dale Mabry by the Department of Transportation seems to have slowed.
"I agree that it ground to a slow crawl recently," Millard wrote.
But DOT spokeswoman Kris Carson said the $5.2 million project is right on schedule. She estimates completion for the project, which started Jan. 14, will be late July.
Carson added sidewalks, drainage work and amenities for HART buses also are part of the work.
