FOREST HILLS - Forest Hills United Methodist Church is launching a fundraising campaign to help pay for some construction debt.
Donald Caldwell, vice president of fundraising for Florida United Methodist Foundation, is making a visit to the church at 10:30 a.m. Dec. 7 to discuss how the church can raise money.
The church took out a $275,000 loan from the foundation to help pay for the reroofing of the education building, day care facility and the parsonage. The facilities had a fire alarm system installed and the sanctuary will also be reroofed.
Caldwell is a certified lay speaker with the Florida Conference. Following the service there will be a commitment dinner.
