Suncoast Trail Users Will Need To Use New Parking Lot

LUTZ - Suncoast Trail users will find themselves parking in another lot while interchange construction takes place at Lutz-Lake Fern Road.
The Suncoast Parkway project is under way and the construction will cause the present trailhead parking lot to close sometime in December.
The temporary lot is west of the trail and will have space for 27 cars, including two disabled parking spaces.
The project features a full interchange with ramps entering and exiting on the north side of Lutz-Lake Fern Road.
Joanne Hurley said in an e-mail that the project should be complete prior to the opening of Steinbrenner High School in August.
