Code Comfort: Violation Cases Go Online

TOWN 'N COUNTRY - If you're curious about the status of a code enforcement violation, the information is now just a few mouse clicks away.

By logging onto www.hillsboroughcounty.org/hcce, then clicking the "Online Services" link on the left side of the page, you can check the status of a code violation in your community.

The online service can be used to track case information by case number, parcel number, address or the owner's name.

Besides finding the status of the case, you can find whether any citations were issued and the dates of visits made to the property.

Those without access to a computer may still call Code Enforcement to check on violations or to report a problem. Call (813) 274-6600 during regular business hours, or (813) 272-5900 from 7:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. seven days a week.
