Lutz Man Arrested After Fight Over Last Beer

An argument over taking the last beer led a Lutz man to punch his brother in the head and strike him with a glass Wednesday night, Hillsborough County deputies say. The man repeatedly slammed a bathroom door on his mother's arm as she tried to intervene.
Deputies arrested Kenneth Mullins, 45, at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday. The incident occurred at Mullins' home, 19209 Brown Road.
Mullins was charged with aggravated battery and two counts of misdemeanor battery.
The glass cut his brother's head and arm, an arrest report states. The report does not describe the mother's injuries.
He remained in Orient Road Jail today. No bail has been set.
