Smokey Robinson tribute

Legendary R&B artist Smokey Robinson performs at "Smokey Robinson Tribute on Ice," a music and skating production, at 7:30 p.m. at the St. Pete Times Forum, 401 Channelside Drive.

The cast features some of figure skating's finest, including Olympic gold medalist Brian Boitano.

Tickets are $30, $40 and $50, and are available at the box office or by calling Ticketmaster at (813) 287-8844.

Tropical romance

The Free Movie Series on the Riverwalk presents the musical "South Pacific" at 8 p.m. at the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center, 1010 N. MacInnes Place.

The 1958 film, which is based on the Rodgers and Hammerstein Broadway classic, stars Mitzi Gaynor and Rossano Brazzi. Stadium chairs and blankets are welcome. The live stage version of "South Pacific" is coming to the center.

Pet pandemonium

Looking for that perfect pet? The ASPCA and No More Homeless Pets host the Fall Pet Adoption Expo from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Florida State Fairgrounds Special Events Center, 4800 U.S. 301 N.

More than 40 animal rescue groups will attend, with hundreds of cats and dogs looking for a good home. The event will also feature pet demonstrations and vendors.

Calling all bikers

Biker Bash returns to the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, 5223 Orient Road, from noon to 6 p.m.

The event features a 10-class motorcycle show, a poker run, entertainment and refreshments by the pool.

"Bingo," anyone?

Carrollwood Players will present the comedy "The Queen Of Bingo" at the Carrollwood Playhouse, 4335 Gunn Highway, Friday through Sunday.
