CARROLLWOOD - Neighbors will come together once again to celebrate the fall season at the annual VillageFest.
The Nov. 21 event will feature food, crafts and children's rides.
"We're going to have something for everyone, from age 1 to 100," said event organizer Maria Hochwarth-Alvarez.
Activities include pony rides and tethered balloon rides, weather permitting. Artisans also will sell goods such as watercolor artwork, jewelry, ceramics and photography.
Musical acts will perform throughout the event on a stage and restaurants will sell samplings of popular dishes. Vendors also will sell antiques, gifts and plants.
"We've asked all the participants to keep the items to $5 and under so it's affordable," she said. "We're expecting about 5,000 people to attend again this year."
VillageFest is hosted by homeowner associations for Carrollwood Village phases I, II and III and it's open to the public.
The free event will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Carrollwood Village soccer fields and parking will be available surrounding the Carrollwood Cultural Center, 4537 Lowell Road. Parking will be $2 per car.
