Railroad work will change school bus schedules on U.S. 41

TAMPA - CSX railroad crossing repairs at two intersections along U.S. 41 North will require adjustments in bus schedules for five public schools next week.

The highway's intersections at Lutz Lake Fern Road and Crystal Grove will be closed for the work from Monday through Friday.

Here are the bus rotes affected:

• Bartels Middle School Bus 3999

• Gaither High School Buses 3944 and 4214

• Buchanan Middle School Bus 4628

• Liberty Middle School Bus 4723

• Lutz Elementary School Buses 4214 and 4105

All drivers will make the necessary adjustments to pick up and deliver students in a safe and timely manner, according to a news release from the Hillsborough School District.

Buses could run 10 to 15 minutes early or late, both morning and afternoon.

The schools have been asked to notify affected families of the possible time differences.
