Dogs get a Halloween bash

CARROLLWOOD - The second annual Groovy Monster Bash is coming to the Groovy Cats & Dogs.
The dog-friendly Halloween bash is from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday at 10213-B Lake Carroll Way.
The festivities for family and pooches include "ghoulish gourmet spread," "ghastly gourmet spread" (for dogs), a doggie costume contest, music and goodie bags for the first 10 dogs in costume.
Tickets are $35 per person in advance, $40 at the door. Tickets for children 15 and younger are $20. Tickets include entrance to the event, food and non-alcoholic beverages. For another $10 per person, unlimited wine or beer "tastes" will be available. Tickets may be purchased at Groovy Cats & Dogs.
Event proceeds will benefit Kids and Canines, an assistance dog training program.
