Jim Basta, who flew helicopters as an Army captain in several tours of Vietnam, talks to a fifth-grade class at Wilson Elementary School at Wednesday’s Great American Teach-In. Basta, a member of Vietnam Helicopter Pilots Association of Florida, brought along an OH-6, which he said was the smallest chopper that American forces used in the war. The helicopter is usually on display Veterans Memorial Park in Tampa.
