Tampa Electric and Hillsborough County Schools on Tuesday will launch a pilot program designed to promote energy efficiency to third, fourth and fifth graders through the theater. Stageworks, a professional theater group, will perform Pow!r Play at 9 a.m. Tuesday at Lockhart Elementary School in Tampa, 3719 N. 17th St. The play, which runs through May 2009, is part of a three-year pilot project recently approved by the Florida Public Service Commission, Tampa Electric said. ...more
