Fifth generation Floridian Susan Staton, a certified dance instructor for 15 years, began dancing at age 3. She's been at the Red Rose Inn and Suites for four years, teaching ballroom and Latin dance to all ages, in group and private lessons. Noon Rotary tapped into her talent for the last two years for its annual fundraiser, Dancing with the Locals. SEBRING — Sebring High School senior Jonathan Perez and some of his fellow Spanish club members put their six weeks of practice into rhythmic motion Friday, dancing the Bachata and Merengue on Friday at the school's Hispanic Heritage Festival. This is second year the school has held the festival recognizing the heritage of Spanish speaking students from Central America, South America and the Caribbean.
