The Wesley Chapel chapter of Mothers & More held a Spring Fling on Tuesday at the Land O' Lakes Recreation Complex on Collier Parkway. The day was filled with crafts, such as adding splashes of color to baskets, and was followed by an Easter egg hunt outside. Mothers & More is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of mothers through support, education and advocacy, according to the organization's Web site. A Trinity fundraiser this weekend will benefit abused children in Pasco County. Aquaterra Salon and Spa, 7813 Mitchell Blvd. in Trinity, is opening its doors after business hours today to host a cut-a-thon fundraiser in support of Pasco Kids First. All proceeds from this event, scheduled from 4 to 7 p.m., will benefit the nonprofit organization "dedicated to the prevention, assessment and treatment of child abuse and neglect," according to a news release. ...more
