TAMPA BAY AREA TPC Of Tampa Bay Is Sold TPC of Tampa Bay, host site of the annual Outback Steakhouse Pro-Am, has been purchased by Heritage Golf Group, although area golfers playing the course are unlikely to notice. TPC Tampa Bay, at 5300 W. Lutz Lake Fern Road in Lutz, will be owned and managed by the San Diego-based operation, but will continue to operate under the TPC brand through a license agreement. The Outback Steakhouse event, a stop in May on the Champions Tour, remains contracted to the site. Financial terms were undisclosed. ...more
